Mode of Action

PILARGRAND WDG is a highly effective selective systemic herbicide designed to control a wide range of broadleaf weeds in cereal crops and tribenuron-methyl tolerant sunflower hybrids.

The active ingredient inhibits the ALS (Acetolactate Synthase) enzyme, immediately stopping weed growth. The product is rapidly absorbed through leaves and roots and translocated throughout the plant.

Visible symptoms include:

• Immediate growth inhibition;
• Chlorosis (yellowing/whitening);
• Progressive necrosis and complete weed death.

Excellent performance is achieved even under cool spring conditions.
