COMPOSITION
Per 100 g of product:
- Oxytetracycline hydrochloride: 80 g (equivalent to 74.2 g of active oxytetracycline)
- Excipients: q.s. to 100 g
INDICATIONS:
For each target species, for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible microorganisms.
Poultry:
- Avian cholera (caused by Pasteurella multocida)
- Chronic respiratory diseases (caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Escherichia coli)
- Infectious coryza (caused by Avibacterium paragallinarum)
- Salmonellosis
Swine:
- Diarrhea (caused by Escherichia coli and Salmonella choleraesuis)
- Symptoms of pneumonia (caused by Pasteurella multocida)
- Salmonellosis
- Leptospirosis
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Poultry:
- 20–59 mg of active oxytetracycline/kg body weight/day (equivalent to 27–80 mg of Zanil HCL 80%/kg body weight).
- Equivalent to 50 g of Zanil HCL 80% dissolved in 200 liters of drinking water for 7–14 days.
- Administer orally through drinking water.
Swine:
- 20–25 mg of active oxytetracycline/kg body weight/day (equivalent to 27–34 mg of Zanil HCL 80%/kg body weight).
- Administer for 5–7 days orally through drinking water.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
- Poultry: 5 days (meat)
- Swine: 10 days (meat)
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Do not administer to animals with renal or hepatic insufficiency.
- Do not administer to animals hypersensitive to the active substance.
- Do not administer to poultry producing eggs for human consumption.
- Do not administer to pregnant or lactating females.

SHELF LIFE:
- Shelf life of unopened product: 36 months
- Shelf life after reconstitution: 24 hours
STORAGE CONDITIONS:
- Store at room temperature between 15–30 °C, in a dry and light-protected place.
- Avoid freezing.
