Composition
Each 100 ml contains:
- Toltrazuril: 2.5 g
Target Species
Poultry and turkeys
Dosage and Administration
- 7 mg of Toltrazuril per 1 kg body weight per day for 2 days.
- This corresponds to 28 ml of Toltrazuril per 100 kg body weight per day for 2 days.
- In practice, this equals 25 ppm of Toltrazuril in drinking water for continuous medication over 48 hours, or 75 ppm Toltrazuril in drinking water for 8 hours per day over 2 days. (The dose may be adjusted based on the volume of water consumed by the birds.)
Treatment Regimen
- A single treatment is fully effective. In the case of severe infections, the treatment may be repeated after 5 days.
Contraindications
- Do not administer to laying hens.
- Do not administer to birds with hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the components of the product.
Additional Information
- Toltavet does not provide immunity against coccidiosis.
Withdrawal Period
- Poultry Meat: Do not consume poultry meat during treatment and for 21 days after the last administration.
- Eggs: Do not administer to birds 14 days before laying or to birds that produce eggs for human consumption.
Shelf Life
- Unopened packaging: 3 years
- After opening: 28 days
- After reconstitution: 24 hours
Storage Conditions
- Store in a dry place, protected from light, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
- Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
