Contact fungicide with antisporulant effect for controlling late blight in potato crops
Nando 500 SC is a contact fungicide that provides preventive protection of the foliage throughout the growing season.
Its active ingredient – 500 g/L fluazinam – stops the germination and spore production of the fungus responsible for late blight (Phytophthora infestans).
– It comes in the form of a fine, homogeneous, cream-colored suspension.
Advantages
-
Contact fungicide with antisporulant effect that stops spore germination and mobility, blocking their migration to the tubers;
-
Resistant to being washed off by rain;
-
Long-lasting efficacy;
-
Acts preventively;
-
No restrictions on the number of treatments per season;

When applied shortly after emergence, it prevents the movement of blight spores from the soil to stems and leaves;
-
When used later in the season as the final treatment, it protects tubers from infection by late blight;
-
Complex action – helps prevent the development of resistant strains;
-
Liquid formulation – easy to handle and apply.
Approved dose
For controlling late blight (Phytophthora infestans) in potato crops:
0.3–0.4 L/ha
Application recommendations
We recommend applying this fungicide as the first treatment, before row closure (to protect newly emerged plants from soil-borne spores), and as the final treatment during the vegetation period (to prevent the migration of spores to the tubers).
Depending on the risk of disease outbreak, Nando 500 SC can also be used during the growing season (e.g., at 7–10 day intervals, especially after two days of high humidity and temperatures, or in irrigated crops).
Important!
-
Pre-harvest interval: potatoes can be harvested 7 days after the last treatment.
-
Compatibility: Nando 500 SC is compatible with most plant protection products. However, for safety, it is recommended to check compatibility charts and perform a test before use.
