Composition
Ectothrin is an ectoparasiticide containing 10% Cypermethrin in the form of an emulsifiable concentrate.
Mode of Action
Ectothrin is a non-systemic pyrethroid insecticide with a rapid paralyzing effect on insects, causing muscular excitation and convulsions.
Properties and Indications
- Used for the treatment of scabies and mange in animals, and lice in poultry.
- Effective against ectoparasites such as fleas, mites, and parasitic larvae affecting sheep, goats, cattle, and pigs.
- Suitable for controlling and preventing flies and other insects in farms, stables, and animal shelters.
Withdrawal Period
- Meat: Treated animals’ meat must not be used for human consumption during treatment and for 7 days after the last application.
- Milk: 6 hours.
Contraindications
- Do not administer to sick, weak, or exhausted animals, or to young animals.

Storage Conditions
- Store at temperatures up to 25°C.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store in the original packaging.
Shelf Life
- Unopened product: 2 years.
- After opening: 28 days.
- After reconstitution: 24 hours.
- Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
